Press Release, May 4:
Bergström represents Alternativ för Sverige (AfS) and has over 30 years of experience in law enforcement, primarily in operational duties. He is currently the district leader for AfS in Stockholm, a role he has held since 2023. He also has experience as a self-employed entrepreneur. He is married and has three children.
The former police officer has distinguished himself as a vocal critic of crime management in Sweden and the political direction the country has taken in recent decades. He believes that stricter penalties alone are not enough to reverse the trend and has advocated for more comprehensive measures.
Among the topics Bergström will highlight at the conference are the need for stronger border controls, national sovereignty, and what he refers to as necessary measures to address crime and social development. He has also argued that Sweden should leave the EU to regain control over its own borders.
Statement from Anne Cecilie Kristensen:
“– We are very pleased to have Anders Bergström at our conference in Oslo. He brings with him unique experience from over 30 years in law enforcement and has observed developments in Sweden up close. This provides an important and serious backdrop for the topics we will be discussing.
– Bergström represents a voice that many feel has long been absent from the public discourse. His perspectives on crime, social development, and the need for policy shifts will be of great interest to participants.
– The goal of the conference is to highlight concrete solutions and honest analyses. It is therefore crucial to invite people who have both practical experience and the courage to speak their minds.”
The Norway Democrats’ conference brings together several national and international speakers and shines a spotlight on immigration, identity, and future social development.
