Lena Kotré (AfD) is coming to Oslo again

Press Release, May 7:

German politician Lena Kotré of Alternative für Deutschland (AfD) is returning to Oslo for the Norwegian Democrats’ remigration conference, ReMig26, on Saturday, June 13, where she will also be one of the keynote speakers.

The day before the conference, Friday, June 12, at 1:00 p.m., Kotré will participate in a new site visit to Grønland together with representatives from the Norwegian Democrats.

The tour comes after significant attention surrounding the first Grønland tour in August 2025, when Kotré and the Norwegian Democrats had to be evacuated by police following extensive counter-demonstrations. Several hundred demonstrators also turned out during the Norway Democrats’ second trip to downtown Oslo in September, where the police had to intervene and forcibly remove counter-demonstrators.

In recent years, Kotré has become a prominent voice in the German immigration debate. During the Norway Democrats’ remigration conference in 2025, she stated, among other things, that remigration primarily concerns illegal immigrants, criminal foreigners, and people who build parallel societies.

This year’s remigration conference will be held in Oslo on Saturday, June 13, and will bring together Norwegian and international speakers who wish to discuss immigration, identity, crime, and the future of Europe. The conference follows up on ReMig25 at Gardermoen, which drew around 180 participants and received significant national and international media attention.

“The interest in remigration shows that this is a debate an increasing number of Europeans believe needs to be had. Lena Kotré has become an important voice in the European immigration debate, and we look forward to welcoming her back to Oslo,” says Anne Cecilie Kristiansen.

The 2025 conference sparked intense debate and was covered by NRK, TV2, VG, Nettavisen, and international media, among others. Several counter-demonstrations were organized, while the event helped put remigration on the agenda in Norway.
